Geno Rodriguez
Managing Director
Mr. Rodriguez has been involved with various aspects of real estate since 2002 and has served as a Managing Director of E3 Advisors since 2012. In that role, Mr. Rodriguez is typically responsible for a variety of asset sales and operational management duties associated with the firm’s complex federal equity receivership and monitorship cases.
Additionally, Mr. Rodriguez is involved with some of the firm’s rents and profits receiverships which include various types of real estate assets. Since 2012, Mr. Rodriguez has managed the sale of nearly 100 assets utilizing the procedures required in 18 USC §2001, worked through the sale of dozens of assets in a distressed REO portfolio with assets located throughout the United States and Mexico, and prepared analysis and reports that served as the basis for complex real estate valuations in an over $100 million bankruptcy.
Prior to joining E3 Advisors, Mr. Rodriguez performed receivership and workout services with the Douglas Wilson Companies as a Managing Director. During that time, he provided project management, homeowner’s association, and general business services to projects located throughout the United States. While there, he managed 27 receiverships including over 450,000 SF of retail strip centers primarily located in the Western United States, over 400,000 SF of office space located in Las Vegas and Texas and various residential properties, notably a 16-story luxury condominium development that included a significant leasing program located in Southern California. He also assisted in the operations and sale of a nationally known men’s shoe designer and a small cable/internet/phone provider. Prior to joining Douglas Wilson Companies, he was a mortgage banker responsible for operations management, management of a $100 million credit facility, and residential home whole loan sales of nearly $1 billion on the secondary market.
Mr. Rodriguez is a graduate of Brown University and completed the 2009 Loyola School of Law’s California Receiver’s Forum Receivership Law and Practice training. He is a California licensed Real Estate Broker (BRE # 01841759) since 2008, a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, and a Realtor. In his spare time, he is active in recruiting for Brown University and is a former co-chair of the Alumni School Committee in San Diego.
